Just because it came up a few times I created a quick video on how easily one can turn the crank to go in either direction on a closed cam machine such as the Legare.
Autoknitters and those cam machines sold at Erlbacher Gearhart are open cam machines which require needle lifting to clear the needle butts, to go in reverse.
All machines are great and useful - however this is a big difference and one of the main reasons I love my Legare over all.
